The Role

We're seeking a Marketing Strategist who can develop data-driven marketing strategies, lead campaign planning, and translate business goals into compelling marketing initiatives. You'll work cross-functionally to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and market share growth.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Development

  • Develop comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and consumer insights studies
  • Define brand positioning, messaging frameworks, and value propositions
  • Create go-to-market strategies for new products, services, or market entries
  • Set marketing KPIs and track performance against strategic goals

Campaign Strategy & Execution

  • Lead integrated marketing campaign development across digital and traditional channels
  • Develop customer segmentation strategies and targeted marketing approaches
  • Create marketing calendars and ensure strategic alignment across initiatives
  • Collaborate with creative teams to develop compelling campaign concepts
  • Optimize marketing mix and budget allocation across channels

Data Analysis & Insights

  • Analyze marketing performance data and derive actionable insights
  • Monitor market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape
  • Conduct A/B testing and experimentation to optimize campaigns
  • Prepare strategic recommendations based on data analysis
  • Present findings and strategies to senior leadership

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with sales, product, and business development teams
  • Work closely with creative, content, and digital marketing teams
  • Coordinate with external agencies and vendors
  • Align marketing strategy with overall business strategy
  • Facilitate strategic planning sessions and workshops

Brand & Market Development

  • Develop brand architecture and positioning strategies
  • Identify new market opportunities and growth areas
  • Create customer journey maps and touchpoint strategies
  • Monitor brand health metrics and recommend improvements
  • Stay current with industry trends and marketing innovations

Essential Requirements

Experience & Background

  • 4-7 years in marketing strategy, brand management, or strategic planning
  • Proven track record developing and executing successful marketing strategies
  • Experience in both digital and traditional marketing channels
  • Background in B2C or B2B marketing (industry-specific experience preferred)
  • Agency or consultancy experience a plus

Strategic & Analytical Skills

  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent data analysis and interpretation skills
  • Proficiency with marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, social media insights, etc.)
  • Experience with market research methodologies
  • Understanding of marketing attribution and ROI measurement

Technical Competencies

  • Expertise in digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, social media, email, content)
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, etc.)
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
  • Strong PowerPoint/presentation skills
  • Understanding of CRM systems and customer data platforms

Marketing Knowledge

  • Deep understanding of consumer psychology and behavior
  • Knowledge of brand building and positioning frameworks
  • Experience with growth marketing and performance marketing
  • Understanding of marketing funnel optimization
  • Awareness of emerging marketing technologies and trends
