Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain network security infrastructure (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS)
- Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and security compliance
- Troubleshoot and resolve network and security incidents (Level 2 support)
- Implement and enforce security policies, including Zero Trust principles
- Support incident response activities and perform root cause analysis
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance network performance and security posture
- Maintain network configurations, documentation, and system updates
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
- 4–7 years of experience in network and/or security operations
- Strong hands-on experience in firewall management, VPN technologies, and IDS/IPS
- Good understanding of Zero Trust architecture and security best practices
- Experience in incident handling and response
Certifications (Preferred)
- CCNP Security
- Fortinet NSE
- CompTIA Security+
Technical Skills
- Routing protocols: BGP, OSPF
- Network technologies: VLANs
- Monitoring tools: SolarWinds
