Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Pharmacist, located in Alexandria. The Pharmacist will be responsible for accurately dispensing medications, ensuring compliance with prescriptions, providing expert advice to patients and healthcare professionals, and maintaining comprehensive records. Additional tasks include verifying prescriptions, managing stock levels, educating patients on the use and potential side effects of medications, and adhering to healthcare regulations and safety protocols. Collaboration with healthcare teams and maintaining excellent customer service are essential to this role.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medication interactions, and prescription practices
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and adhering to healthcare compliance and safety standards
- Exceptional communication skills for patient consultations, education, and collaboration with healthcare providers
- Organizational skills and attention to detail for inventory management and prescription accuracy
- Flexibility and ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree or equivalent qualification, with a valid pharmacist license
- Experience in community is a plus
