Job Summary
The Planner/Dispatcher is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating transportation activities to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods. This role focuses on optimizing routes, managing fleet and vendor utilization, and ensuring seamless execution of dispatch operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and allocate trips, routes, and loads based on demand and operational requirements
- Optimize fleet and vendor utilization to ensure cost-effective operations
- Prepare daily dispatch plans and schedules for drivers and transporters
- Coordinate with operations teams, warehouse staff, and vendors for smooth execution
- Monitor real-time movement of vehicles and ensure timely deliveries
- Handle route deviations, delays, and emergency situations proactively
- Maintain accurate records of dispatches, trip logs, and delivery status
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and transport regulations
- Communicate effectively with drivers regarding schedules, routes, and delivery instructions
- Analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements for operational efficiency

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in dispatch, planning, or logistics operations
- Experience in fleet management or transportation coordination preferred
