Planning Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Planning Engineer to add to our team! preferredPast experience in Oil & Gas projects,

In this position, you would be required to ensure that our teams are able to complete their projects on schedule and that safety is maintained throughout the project.

Responsibilities

• Fully understand the requirements that must be met for each project.
• Create a sufficient and competitive timeline and budget which a project can be completed within.
• Put together a knowledgeable team to complete each project.
• Effectively communicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure your team has all the supplies and resources they need to complete a project.
• Inspect existing processes and make suggestions based on performance and associated risks.
• Track and report the progress of each project.
• Gather all data needed for required reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
• 1-2 years of experience as a Planning Engineer, similar role or engineering sectors
• Past leadership experience is strongly preferred
• Must be able to communicate well with a variety of personalities
• Must be able to compile and motivate a team of highly skilled individuals
• Must be able to quickly find resolutions to problems

Technical Skills preferred Primavera P6, MS Project, SAP, ERP systems.

Strong understanding of drilling, completions, production operations, logistics, and shutdowns.
