Purpose of the role:

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager with strong expertise in the poultry industry to lead our sourcing and purchasing activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, optimizing procurement processes, and ensuring the availability of high-quality materials while maintaining cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Manage the end-to-end purchasing process including sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors within the poultry and food production industry.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve cost savings and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with operations, production, and finance teams to forecast demand and manage inventory levels.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.
  • Prepare procurement reports and track KPIs related to cost, delivery, and supplier performance.
  • Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
    • 8+ years of procurement experience, preferably in the poultry or food production industry.
    • Strong knowledge of poultry supply chains, feed sourcing, and agricultural procurement.
    • Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement tools.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
