We are seeking a highly experienced Project Director to lead the delivery of large-scale landscape and construction projects. In this role, you will be fully accountable for end-to-end project execution, overseeing scope, schedule, cost, quality, and stakeholder management. You will lead cross-functional teams and ensure all projects are delivered in line with contractual, operational, and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple projects or a project portfolio, ensuring successful delivery across all phases from planning to handover.
- Define project strategies, objectives, and execution plans aligned with company goals.
- Manage relationships with clients, consultants, and internal teams, acting as the main escalation point for project-related matters.
- Oversee budgets, cost control, forecasting, and cash flow. Manage contracts, variations, claims, and final accounts.
- Ensure projects are executed across all disciplines (landscape, civil, irrigation, MEP) in line with specifications and standards.
- Oversee procurement strategies and ensure timely sourcing of materials, subcontractors, and services.
- Monitor project performance, ensuring accurate reporting on progress, risks, and financial status.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage project completion, including documentation, commissioning, and handover processes.
- Lead, mentor, and develop project teams, ensuring high performance and accountability.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Agricultural, Landscape Architecture, Mechanical, or related discipline) from an accredited university.
- Master's degree in Engineering Management, Construction Management, or MBA.
- 15–20 years of experience in construction, landscape, or infrastructure projects, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership role (Project Director or equivalent).
- Proven experience delivering large-scale projects (SAR 200M+ or equivalent).
- Experience in GCC projects is preferred.
- PMP certification is required. Additional certifications (PRINCE2, PgMP, etc.) are a plus.
- Strong understanding of project lifecycle, contract management (FIDIC/NEC), and cost control.
- Experience with Primavera P6, ERP systems (SAP), and Microsoft Office tools.
