Role Summary
The QA/QC Civil Engineer ensures all civil works meet contractual specifications, international standards, authority requirements, and the company's high-quality expectations for luxury and high-rise projects. The role focuses on inspection, documentation, quality management, and coordination with site teams, consultants, and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor the project's QA/QC procedures in accordance with ISO standards and project specifications.
- Conduct inspections for civil and structural works (concrete, formwork, rebar, finishing works, faade, waterproofing, external works).
- Verify materials and workmanship comply with approved drawings, method statements, and ITPs.
- Manage all civil-related NCRs, SORs, and corrective actions, ensuring timely closure.
- Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation (ITPs, checklists, MIRs, WIRs, RFI logs, etc.).
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, and main contractors for inspections and quality approvals.
- Ensure stringent quality control for luxury finishing works (marble, joinery, high-end fit-out).
- Review subcontractor quality plans, method statements, and material submissions.
- Report deviations and propose preventive measures to avoid recurring quality issues.
- Support project handover by preparing quality records, as-built documentation, and snag lists

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 58+ years of experience in QA/QC Civil roles within contracting.
- Strong background in luxury projects and high-rise residential towers.
- In-depth knowledge of concrete structures, civil finishing, waterproofing, and faade works.
- Familiar with ISO 9001, local authorities (Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DDA, ADM), and international codes.
- Strong documentation, reporting, and coordination skills.
