Job Description

Job Title: Retail Sales Consultant

Reports to: Team Leader

Location: UAE

Business Unit: Trading

Role Purpose

To offer exceptional customer service while maximizing all sales opportunities.

Key Accountabilities

  • Deliver excellent customer service.
  • Follow the sales process to maximize sales.
  • Understand features and benefits of all Travelex product lines.
  • Use every opportunity to upsell and cross-sell.
  • Recognize warning signs of questionable transactions and mitigate potential risks.
  • Adhere to promotional marketing offers.
  • Manage till stocks effectively.
  • Achieve individual KPIs and sales targets.
  • Investigate and report overages and shortages.
  • Comply with company and location policies and procedures, including:
    • Audit
    • Risk
    • Health & Safety
    • Security
    • Customer service requirements
  • Ensure legal and corporate compliance.
  • Maintain high standards of store housekeeping and presentation.
  • Contribute positively to team success.
  • Complete all required training within specified timelines.
Role-Specific Experience And Skills

  • Experience in retail, cash handling, and/or banking.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Good numerical ability.
  • Sound knowledge of products, services, and procedures.
  • Experience working with computer systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail in routine activities.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts and locations.
  • Proficiency in English.
