Job Description

we are seeking a motivated and technically strong Sales Engineer with 25 years of experience in electrical power generation and transmission sectors. The successful candidate will support sales operations by providing technical and commercial expertise, developing strong relationships with utility and industrial customers, and driving business growth. This role serves as a key link between customers and the Company Principals to ensure tailored, reliable, and efficient power-related solutions that meet client requirements and company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and manage relationships with utility companies and industrial clients, particularly in power generation and transmission sectors.

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities related to power plants, substations, and transmission projects.

- Understand customer technical and commercial requirements and propose suitable power generation and transmission solutions.

- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution proposals related to power systems and equipment.

- Collaborate with engineering, project, and operations teams to ensure accurate technical solution design and successful project execution.

- Prepare quotations, tenders, and commercial offers in line with company policies and utility standards.

- Follow up on leads, negotiate commercial terms, and support closing of sales opportunities.

- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in CRM systems.

- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and utility sector developments to identify new business opportunities.

- Provide technical and after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.

Requirements & Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

- 25 years of experience in technical sales, preferably within power generation, transmission, or utility sectors.

- Strong understanding of electrical power systems, power generation processes, and transmission infrastructure.

- Basic to intermediate technical knowledge of power generation turbines (gas, steam, or hydro) and associated systems.

- Proven experience dealing with utility customers and government or large-scale industrial clients. - Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.

- Willingness to travel Locally as required. And sometimes abroad

- Owns a private car.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in project-based sales, tenders, and EPC environments.

- Knowledge of grid systems, substations, and high-voltage equipment.

- Strong customer-oriented mindset and ability to build long-term partnerships
