Sales Manager (Dubai) B2B SaaS / Financial Reconciliation

About Us

Donnerstag.ai automates financial reconciliation for enterprises. Our AI-powered platform helps CFOs and finance teams match invoices, credit notes, purchase orders, service records, and payments at position level, making discrepancies visible that simply disappear in aggregated totals. Our clients come from logistics, automotive, e-commerce, construction and B2B services.

We are expanding into the Middle East and are looking for the person who builds that market from the ground up.

Your Role You will be our first hire in the region. You build a qualified pipeline of enterprise clients from day one. You work directly with our founding team in Frankfurt and have full ownership over how we enter and grow in this market.

This is not a standard sales role. Our buyers are CFOs, finance directors, and heads of accounting in complex organizations. You need to speak their language, understand their processes, and be able to articulate the business case for automated reconciliation without a generic pitch deck.

Your Responsibilities

  • Build a qualified pipeline of enterprise prospects across the UAE and wider Middle East from scratch.
  • Identify and approach relevant decision-makers primarily CFOs, Finance Directors, VP Finance, and Heads of Accounting.
  • Run structured discovery conversations: understand processes, quantify discrepancies, establish business case.
  • Lead individual Proof-of-Value phases with real client data in close collaboration with our technical team in Frankfurt.
  • Own the full sales cycle from first outreach to signed contract.
  • Leverage your existing regional network to accelerate early pipeline.
  • Feed market and customer insights back to product and founding team.
  • Maintain clean CRM documentation with a clear, traceable pipeline and measurable KPIs.

What You Bring

  • 46+ years of B2B SaaS or fintech sales experience with direct relevance to finance, ERP, controlling, or operational finance processes.
  • You understand how accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, payment reconciliation, and period close actually work in practice not just in theory.
  • You can hold a peer-level conversation with a CFO: revenue leakage, cash flow exposure, document chains, variance analysis this is your vocabulary.
  • A strong existing network in the UAE or wider GCC enterprise market is a significant advantage.
  • ERP familiarity (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Business Central or similar) is a clear plus. You understand how data flows through an organization.
  • Analytical mindset: you can map a process, identify where money is lost, and build a conversation around that.
  • Experience managing longer B2B sales cycles and guiding clients through pilot or proof-of-value phases.
  • Dubai-based. This is a full-time, in-market role.
