Job Description

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Achieve monthly individual revenue targets set by the Commercial Director.
  • Generate, manage, and retain major Corporate/Leisure accounts and assigned market segments through proactive sales activities including sales calls, meetings, site inspections, and client entertainment.
  • Develop business across all hotel revenue streamsRooms, Corporate/Leisure Accounts, Food & Beverage, banqueting, and conferencing.
  • Ensure full sales coverage for all assigned segments and deliver high-quality client servicing to maximize productivity.
  • Set sales objectives, action plans, and support team targets aligned with the hotel's commercial strategy.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
  • Conduct in-house show rounds and host potential and existing Corporate/Leisure clients.
  • Represent the hotel at trade shows, networking events, community functions, and industry meetings to build relationships and generate leads.
  • Maintain strong Corporate/Leisure relationships to enhance brand presence and secure long-term business.
  • Participate in daily business review meetings, pre-convention meetings, and other internal sales-related functions.
  • Prepare accurate month-end sales reports and provide insights for strategic decisions.
  • Ensure adherence to all Sales policies, SOPs, and Corporate/Leisure guidelines.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure strong communication, collaboration, and consistent market penetration.
  • Guide, support, and motivate team members to achieve departmental goals.

CAPABILITIES:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Sales Manager: 35 years of progressive hotel sales experience, preferably in the Corporate/Leisure Segment.
  • Strong understanding of hotel operations, revenue management, and local market dynamics.
  • Proven record of achieving sales targets and managing key Corporate/Leisure accounts.
  • Proficiency in Opera and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with the local market and strong networking capabilities.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and able to work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
