Senior Accountant
We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, financial reporting, and VAT compliance, who thrives in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, including invoice processing and reconciliations.
- Monitor outstanding receivables, follow up on payments, and maintain accurate customer accounts.
- Record financial transactions and maintain accurate records in Oracle NetSuite.
- Assist with month-end closing, financial reporting, and preparation of management reports.
- Support budget preparation and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and review expense claims and vendor invoices.
- Prepare documentation related to Trade Finance and Letters of Credit (LC) and liaise with banks.
- Coordinate closely with Logistics, Procurement, and Sales teams to ensure timely invoicing and smooth operations.
- Support external audits and maintain proper financial documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a commercial or distribution environment.
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle NetSuite preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Good understanding of UAE VAT regulations.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
