Worley Consulting is currently seeking to fill the position of Senior Consultant / Project Manager – Ports & Marine for our Ports & Marine Service Line in the EMEA Region, based in Abu Dhabi.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage studies and projects within the Ports & Marine service line
- Act as Senior Consultant in delivery of Port Consulting and Engineering Services
- Ensuring technical quality through implementation of best practice and continuous search for improvement
- Promoting cost-reduction and productivity-enhancing initiatives
- Performing site visits & inspections, data gathering activities and technical evaluations that are relevant to assigned tasks and works
- Participating in design review and advising on technical design and drafting issues and compliance requirements as appropriate
- Support proposals preparations
- Maintain Cost and Quality Control on projects in accordance with Worley procedures
Qualifications
- Preferably more than 15 years (10 years minimum) relevant experience in the Port Engineering Industry and 5 years as a Project Manager.
- BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering or Similar
- Chartered Status or similar preferred
- Excellent Written and Spoken English.
- Project management skills and certifications.
- Ability to travel within the Middle East region
