Job Description

Senior Finance Manager Investment Company - DIFC

We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager / FC to oversee the financial operations of an investment firm client base din DIFC.

Reporting to CFO.

You will be ensuring accurate reporting, strong financial controls, and data-driven decision-making.

The ideal candidate has a solid background in investment accounting, fund structures, portfolio reporting, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP and internal reporting standards.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across the business.
  • Produce portfolio-level and fund-level financial reports for internal stakeholders and investors.
  • Consolidate financials for multiple entities, SPVs, and investment vehicles.

Investment Accounting & Portfolio Support

  • Monitor performance of investment portfolios, including valuations, returns, and asset allocations.
  • Coordinate with investment teams on deal structuring, due diligence, and capital deployment.
  • Manage cash flow planning for investments, capital calls, and distributions.
  • Oversee accounting for private equity, real estate, venture capital, and public market securities (as applicable).

Regulatory Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and investment industry requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits, liaising with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Maintain strong internal controls, financial policies, and risk management processes.

Treasury & Cash Management

  • Oversee liquidity management across funds and corporate entities.
  • Manage banking relationships and optimise capital structure.
  • Ensure efficient management of FX, hedging strategies, and cash deployment.

Strategic Planning & Business Partnering

  • Provide financial insights to support investment decisions and business strategy.
  • Partner with senior leadership on scenario modelling, fundraising, and capital allocation.
  • Support financial due diligence and valuation for new investment opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CFA) preferred.
  • 610 years of financial management experience, ideally within an investment firm, family office, private equity, asset management, or corporate finance environment.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, investment accounting, and portfolio reporting.
  • Advanced Excel/financial modelling skills; experience with ERP systems and investment platforms.
  • Proven experience managing audits, financial controls, and multi-entity structures.
