We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior HR Officer to join our HR team. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of hands-on HR experience and solid exposure across core HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, HR operations, payroll support, compliance, and performance management.
This role requires someone capable of independently managing day-to-day HR activities, ensuring compliance with labor regulations, and contributing to the development of efficient HR processes that support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage end-to-end recruitment activities including job posting, CV screening, interviewing coordination, and candidate communication.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements and define job specifications.
- Prepare and issue job offers, employment contracts, and onboarding documentation.
- Lead onboarding activities to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
- Maintain and regularly update job descriptions and recruitment records.
- Monitor recruitment KPIs such as time-to-fill, quality of hire, and hiring pipeline status.
HR Operations & Administration
- Maintain and oversee employee personnel files and HR records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Prepare and review HR documents including employment letters, salary certificates, warning letters, and internal announcements.
- Supervise attendance, leave, overtime, and employee movement records.
- Ensure proper HR documentation, filing, and process standardization.
- Support HR policy implementation and process improvements.
Payroll & Benefits Management
- Prepare and validate monthly payroll inputs including attendance, overtime, leaves, deductions, and allowances.
- Coordinate closely with finance/payroll teams to ensure timely and accurate salary processing.
- Manage medical insurance enrollments, deletions, and employee claims documentation.
- Oversee social insurance records and related employee documentation.
- Ensure all payroll and benefits records are properly maintained and audited.
Employee Relations & Performance Management
- Serve as the main HR point of contact for employee concerns, policy clarifications, and HR-related inquiries.
- Handle employee relations matters and support conflict resolution when needed.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and internal communication programs.
- Coordinate and monitor performance appraisal cycles and related documentation.
- Assist managers in implementing performance improvement plans when required.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure full compliance of employee files with company policies and local labor regulations.
- Handle documentation related to social insurance, labor office requirements, and government entities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Egyptian Labor Law and ensure HR practices comply accordingly.
- Support audits and internal compliance reviews.
Offboarding & Exit Management
- Manage resignation, termination, and clearance procedures.
- Prepare final settlement documentation in coordination with payroll and finance.
- Conduct exit interviews and provide insights on retention trends.
- Ensure proper documentation and handover during offboarding.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Human Resources operations / HR generalist roles.
- Strong knowledge of Egyptian Labor Law, social insurance, and HR compliance processes.
- Hands-on experience in recruitment, payroll support, employee relations, and HR administration.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Experience with HR systems / HRMS is a strong plus.
