As a Senior Interior Designer at MWM Studio, you will play a leading role in delivering innovative, high-quality high end residential design projects. You will be responsible for managing client relationships, overseeing projects from concept through completion, and mentoring junior colleagues to support their professional development. This is a hands-on role that requires strong design expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to successfully balance multiple projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and lead client and consultant meetings, presentations, and workshops independently, without the need for Partner attendance.
- Act as a senior team member, providing guidance and mentorship to junior designers to support their growth within the studio.
- Oversee junior employees and their project work while running your own projects in parallel.
- Successfully multitask and manage multiple projects, ensuring timelines, programming, and deliverables are achieved.
- Represent and promote the company at industry events, socials, and networking opportunities.
- Continuously seek to improve detailing standards and contribute to the studio's overall design development.
- Support deadline management, offering input on internal programming, workflows, and resource planning.
- Assist with organising and suggesting work socials to enhance team morale and strengthen studio culture.
- Encourage supplier presentations and meetings to foster both your own growth and the development of junior colleagues.
- Proactively identify and resolve site issues to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Maintain a clear understanding of budget requirements and ensure all designs align with the client brief and financial constraints.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years experience in interior design, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
- Proven experience managing projects from concept to completion.
- Strong knowledge of design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, Revit, etc. as relevant)
