Job Title: Project Manager Software Development & Testing

Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Project Manager with a strong background in software testing and a solid understanding of SDLC and STLC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with quality standards. A testing mindset and familiarity with QA processes are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full lifecycle of software projects from planning to deployment, including resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, testers, business analysts, and product owners.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet timelines and quality standards.
- Ensure adherence to SDLC and STLC best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with QA teams to define testing timelines, review test plans, and ensure comprehensive coverage.
- Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Track and manage project risks and issues, escalating when needed.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation including project plans, progress reports, and post-implementation reviews.
- Ensure alignment between development and testing teams to meet quality expectations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in software development projects.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC processes and methodologies.
- Prior hands-on experience or close collaboration with QA/testing teams.
- Proven track record of delivering software projects using Agile/Scrum and/or Waterfall methodologies.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Experience using project management tools like Jira, Trello, Asana, or MS Project.
- Excellent English & Arabic Language skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, CSM).
- Experience working in QA or software testing roles.
- Familiarity with test management tools like TestRail, Zephyr, or Xray.
- Understanding of test automation frameworks and CI/CD processes is a plus.
- Experience in managing distributed or offshore teams.
