Position Overview
EDECS is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing Human Resources team. This strategic role is essential in attracting and hiring top-tier talent to support our expanding operations across the GCC. You will lead recruitment initiatives that align with EDECS's mission to build world-class infrastructure and deliver impact-driven development solutions.
As a senior member of the HR function, you will work closely with business leaders and department heads to ensure our workforce planning, sourcing, and hiring practices are effective, efficient, and aligned with the company's values and regional growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Strategy & Planning
- Lead the development and execution of talent acquisition strategies to meet current and future staffing needs across EDECS's GCC operations.
- Collaborate with leadership on workforce planning and organizational design.
Full-Cycle Recruitment
- Manage the complete recruitment process for technical, functional, and leadership rolesfrom job posting and sourcing to onboarding.
- Ensure a consistent and high-quality candidate experience.
Sourcing & Employer Branding
- Utilize multiple sourcing channels (LinkedIn Recruiter, GulfTalent, job fairs, university partnerships) to attract diverse and qualified candidates.
- Support employer branding initiatives to position EDECS as an employer of choice in the engineering and construction sectors.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, selection criteria, and interview frameworks.
- Provide training and support to hiring teams on recruitment best practices.
Data & Compliance
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Ensure recruitment processes comply with EDECS policies and relevant labor laws in the GCC.
Performance Metrics & Reporting
- Track and analyze recruitment KPIs such as time-to-hire, offer acceptance rates, and sourcing effectiveness.
- Prepare regular reports and provide insights to optimize hiring strategies.
Skills and Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional HR certifications such as CIPD, SHRM, or PHR are preferred.
Experience
- 57 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, with at least 3 years in a senior role.
- Proven experience in the GCC region, preferably in engineering, construction, or project-based industries.
Technical Skills & Knowledge
- Strong command of ATS platforms, sourcing tools, and recruitment analytics.
- Solid understanding of labor regulations across GCC countries.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
