Position:
The Structural Engineer will be responsible for planning, supervising and coordinating all structural design and implementation activities for private sector projects. The role involves ensuring design accuracy, structural safety and compliance with engineering standards while providing full-time technical support either at the company's headquarters or on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the planning, follow up and supervision of all structural engineering activities across project stages.
- Ensure that structural implementation meets approved design specifications, codes and quality standards.
- Review and approve structural designs, drawings and material submittals.
- Conduct site inspections and evaluate construction progress to ensure structural integrity and compliance.
- Coordinate with architects, MEP teams and contractors to resolve design or on-site challenges.
- Prepare technical reports, structural calculations and documentation for client review and authority submission.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi Building Code (SBC), international standards (ACI, BS, ASTM) and local municipality regulations.
- Participate in project progress meetings, providing professional insights and engineering recommendations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in civil or Structural Engineering (master's degree preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of experience, including proven work experience within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- Strong technical knowledge of structural design principles, materials, and load analysis.
- Proficiency in engineering and design software such as ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, STAAD Pro, AutoCAD, and Revit Structure.
- Adequate experience in planning, site supervision, and follow up of structural works.
- Excellent understanding of construction methodologies and field implementation.
- Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
- Professional accreditation from the Saudi Council of Engineers (mandatory)
- Familiarity with local authority procedures, safety standards, and quality assurance processes
