Job Summary

Set the technical & commercial proposal for the projects, including Busway Layout Routes, Item List, Cost Sheets,

Material BOM, and support the production teams with design inquiries and changes, support after after-sales team during

installation.

Key Accountabilities:

Prepare competitive technical and commercial offers according to the Bill of quantity, Layout, AutoCAD, or Revit drawings, technical specifications, and customer requirements.

Prepare material technical submittals (catalogues, samples, compliance sheets, etc.) and resolve

Consultant comment till approval is reached

Assist drafters in developing the structural design of products using drafting tools or computer-assisted drafting design (CAD).

Prepare a cost sheet, ensuring that the cost is commercially competitive

Seek and negotiate technical and commercial offers from sub-manufacturers to fit the required technical needs.

Attend technical meetings and support the sales team in technical discussions and all customer-related queries.

Conduct site visits to map and get actual measures (during order stage & as built drawings) and amend design and bill of quantity accordingly in alignment with the customer.

Prepare the final BOQ to support the sales team in issuing invoices to the customer based on an as-built design.

Investigate customer or public complaints, determine the nature and extent of the problem, and recommend remedial measures.

Qualifications & Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
• +2 years of experience in Mechanical / Electrical design.
