Qatara HRMC Egypt is seeking a detail-oriented MEP BIM Engineer with 1 to 3 years of experience to support the development, coordination, and implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems. The candidate will work closely with design and construction teams to ensure accurate and efficient project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and model MEP systems using BIM software such as Autodesk Revit.
- Prepare detailed 3D models for HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Perform clash detection and coordination using tools like Navisworks.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to resolve design conflicts.
- Generate shop drawings, as-built drawings, and construction documentation.
- Ensure BIM models comply with project standards and BIM execution plans.
- Assist in model updates and revisions based on project changes.
- Participate in coordination meetings and provide technical input.
- Maintain organized BIM data and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
- 1–3 years of experience in BIM modeling for MEP systems.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit is required.
- Familiarity with Navisworks and clash detection processes.
- Basic understanding of MEP design principles and construction practices.
- Knowledge of BIM standards, LOD requirements, and workflows.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage time and meet deadlines.
