Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Draftsman based in Sharjah Emirate, United Arab Emirates. The Draftsman will be responsible for creating accurate technical drawings, preparing detailed shop drawings for metal and glass works, and ensuring compliance with project specifications. They will collaborate with engineers, architects, and project teams to make modifications and finalize designs, maintain project records, and stay updated on industry drafting standards and software advancements.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other drafting tools
• Ability to create and interpret technical and architectural drawings
• Knowledge of materials, especially metal and glass, and their fabrication processes
• Attention to detail and ability to ensure compliance with project specifications
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills relevant to drafting and designing
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with architects and engineers
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Drafting, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience in metal and glass works drafting is a strong advantage
