Job Summary:
We are looking for a creative and passionate
Florist to join our team in Dubai and bring beauty and elegance to our floral offerings. The ideal candidate has a deep appreciation for flowers, a keen eye for design, and a strong sense of customer service. This role involves designing arrangements for everyday occasions, weddings, events, and custom orders, while also handling inventory, customer consultations, and daily shop maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
Floral Design & Arrangement
- Create visually stunning floral arrangements for a variety of occasions (e.g., birthdays, anniversaries, sympathy, weddings, corporate events)
- Interpret customer needs and preferences to customize designs and bouquets
- Stay updated with floral trends and seasonal styles
Customer Service
- Assist walk-in, phone, and online customers with selection and purchase of flowers
- Offer expert advice on flower care, arrangement suitability, and complementary products
- Build positive relationships with clients, especially event and wedding customers
Shop Operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and display areas
- Process flowers including trimming, watering, and arranging stock in optimal condition
- Handle packaging, tagging, and labeling of bouquets and orders
- Participate in deliveries and event set-ups, when necessary
Inventory & Supplies
- Monitor flower and supply inventory, place orders as needed, and manage spoilage effectively
- Coordinate with vendors for fresh stock and seasonal availability
- Ensure flowers are stored at proper temperature and handled with care
