Head of Finance | Fintech Brokerage
The Head of Finance leads the firm's financial operations, ensuring total regulatory compliance, fiscal integrity, and strategic growth. You will oversee all accounting, treasury, and tax functions within the Saudi Arabian capital markets framework, providing high-level insights to senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Leadership: Direct the finance department, ensuring robust internal controls and efficient operations.
- Reporting & Compliance: Oversee the end-to-end financial closing process and prepare IFRS-compliant monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
- Treasury & Liquidity: Manage bank relationships, cash flow, and the critical reconciliation of client money accounts per regulatory standards.
- Taxation: Ensure full compliance with ZATCA regarding Zakat, VAT, and corporate tax obligations.
- Strategic FP&A: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling; monitor performance trends to guide business decisions.
- Audit & Governance: Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors and regulators while maintaining the firm's regulatory capital requirements.
- Systems Evolution: Support the enhancement of financial systems and reporting tools to scale with the fintech environment.
Candidate Profile:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; SOCPA, CPA, ACCA, or CFA preferred.
- Experience: 8–12 years in finance, specifically within financial services, brokerage, or capital markets.
- Expertise: Deep knowledge of Saudi Arabian tax laws (ZATCA), IFRS, and regulatory capital frameworks.
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage treasury operations, banking relationships, and cross-functional stakeholders.
