Sales Executive Events

About the Role

The Creekside Hotel is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive Events to join our Sales & Events team. This role is responsible for driving event revenue by converting inquiries, building strong client relationships, and ensuring seamless coordination of corporate and social events. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and secure new event business from corporate, social, and leisure segments.
  • Proactively generate leads through networking, client visits, telesales, and market research.
  • Manage incoming event inquiries, prepare proposals, and follow up to maximize conversion.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of prospects to achieve monthly and yearly sales targets.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture strong, lasting relationships with clients, planners, and key partners.
  • Conduct site inspections and provide professional guidance on event options and hotel facilities.
  • Ensure timely communication with clients throughout the event process.

Event Coordination & Execution

  • Work closely with the Events and Operations teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
  • Prepare event sheets, BEOs, contracts, and all required documentation.
  • Attend key events to support the client and ensure expectations are met.

Market Knowledge & Reporting

  • Stay updated on competitor offerings, local trends, and market opportunities.
  • Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates to the Sales Manager.
  • Participate in sales meetings, trade shows, client events, and networking activities.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, Events, or related field.
  • Minimum 13 years of experience in hotel sales or event sales (UAE experience preferred).
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets and handle multiple inquiries simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Opera/S&C or similar CRM systems is an advantage.
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
