Dar Almasalla is a Saudi-owned marble brand with an ISO-certified manufacturing facility and three showrooms in Riyadh. We execute premium marble works across residential, commercial, and hospitality projects from custom sinks and vanities to full-scale architectural finishes. Role Summary Own the technical office function end-to-end: drawings, shop drawing packages, cross-team coordination between factory and site, and execution follow-up all moving in parallel without dropping the ball.
Key Responsibilities
- Own technical office output: shop drawings, technical details, submittal packages, and revision cycles
- Review and interpret architectural drawings, specs, and contract documents for marble scope
- Coordinate with factory/production on material requirements, cut lists, and fabrication feasibility
- Liaise with site teams on installation sequencing, technical clarifications, and RFI management
- Track submittals, approvals, and revision logs; escalate blockers proactively
- Support quantity take-off and material scheduling for active projects
- Maintain documentation standards across all project files
- Flag technical and coordination risks before they become site problems
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or Civil Engineering
- 5+ years in a technical office or project coordination role
- Marble, natural stone, or closely related sector experience (fit-out, façade, architectural finishes)
- Proficient in AutoCAD; working knowledge of MS Office/Project
- Able to read and mark up construction drawings independently
- Strong coordination instincts you close loops, you don't leave them open
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience interfacing with a production/factory environment, not just site
- Familiarity with Saudi construction project norms and consultant submission processes
- Arabic/English bilingual (both will be used daily)
What Success Looks Like (30/60/90 Days)
- 30 days: Fully onboarded on active projects; no technical submission lag
- 60 days: Running the technical office independently; factory-site coordination flowing without escalation
- 90 days: Identified and resolved at least one systemic coordination gap; contributing to process improvement
