Senior Financial Analyst Manufacturing
Role Overview
The Senior Financial Analyst will support financial planning, analysis, and decision-making for manufacturing operations. The role focuses on cost control, profitability analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting, working closely with operations and supply chain teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly management reports, including variance analysis vs. budget and forecast
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes for manufacturing operations
- Analyze manufacturing costs (raw materials, labor, overhead, CAPEX) and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Monitor and analyze production efficiency, margins, and KPIs
- Support standard costing, cost allocation, and inventory valuation
- Partner with plant management to support operational and strategic decisions
- Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis for new projects and investments
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies
- Support audits and provide financial insights to senior management
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business
- 3+ years of experience in financial analysis within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting and manufacturing finance
- Advanced skills in Excel; ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, etc.) preferred
- Strong analytical, communication, and business-partnering skills
